1) What is a payment gateway?

A payment Gateway is an e-commerce service provider that permits merchants to receive secure credit card transactions over the Internet. This is a system that accepts, authenticates and processes transactions for the merchant from the customers. The most well known methods of transaction that are accepted through payment gateways are-

2) What does 3Pay do?

3Pay offers a broad, simple and secure online payment gateway service and e-business solutions to websites, with real time credit card transaction validation. 3Pay allows websites to receive and manage online payments.

3) Does the merchant need a separate bank account to receive transactions through 3Pay?

No. The merchant does not need a separate bank account. All the transactions will be transferred to the merchant’s existing bank account, which will be mentioned in the application form.

4) Which types of business that are not accepted by 3Pay?

The business categories that are not accepted by Wallteo, are as follows:

5) How to apply / Where to get an application form?

You can get started quickly by providing few documents and filling and providing document by 3Pay & bank in soft copy format. We need documents as below:

Trade license
TIN
VAT (if any)
NID
Photo (1 Copy)
Partnership Deed (If partnership company where owners are more than one)
Certificate of Incorporation (If Private Limited Company)
Article Memorandum (If Private Limited Company)

Additional Document: We will provide below:

3Pay Application Form.
Bank Sub Merchant Registration form (You need to fill it up then take a print, sign with seal, scan and send us back via email to info@3pay.co

Also send us the below information while you send documents scan copy:

Company name, Contact name, Email, Phone, City, Address with Zip Code, Mobile Number, Domain name, Hosting IP.

6) What are the different types of payment options available with 3Pay?

Currently 3Pay processes the following payment options:

7) Is a merchant restricted to sell only to Bangladesh based customers?

No. Merchants can sell their products and services internationally.

9) How does the signing up process work for the service?

When the application form is submitted a member of 3Pay team will get in touch with the applicant about the approval status.

10)How long does the credit card authorization process take?

Depending on the approval of the transaction the authorization process takes about 3 to 7 seconds from the time the customer clicks the ‘purchase’ button to the time the customer and the merchant receive authorization.

11) Whose name will appear on the customers’ credit card statement?

The merchant’s business name will appear after “3Pay” on the customer’s billing statement, which will add value to the merchants brand and prevent possibilities of chargeback.

12) Do you have CMS & Frameworks support plugins & API?

Yes, we have support for major CMS and Frameworks which includes popular CMS & ecommerce platforms. Like WooCommerce for WordPress, Open Cart, Magento, WHMCS, PrestaShop, Zent Cart, OsCommerce, Laravel API, Custom API etc.

13) When does the amount gets transferred to the merchant’s account? What is the settlement system?

If the bank and 3Pay’s risk team approve the transaction, the amount will be transferred within 48 hours after deducting the Transaction Commission and Tax.

14) How to know when the transaction has been made?

When the transaction occurs the merchant will receive a notification on his website with a link to log in to the account to manage the orders and transactions. The merchant will be given a console from where it will be possible to manage all the transactions and view reports.

15) How to check the status of a particular order?

In order to check status of orders or a particular order the merchant can log in to the provided admin module. The log in details will be provided to the merchant as soon as the merchant’s account is activated.

16) What are the different MIS (Management Information Statement) provided in 3Pay’s admin module?

A comprehensive MIS report can be downloaded from the admin module that can help the merchant to keep track of the orders and manage transactions. These reports consist of a list of Authorized Transactions, Pre-Authorized Transactions, Failed Transactions, Flagged Transactions, and Settled Transactions.

17) What is a credit card chargeback?

A chargeback is a refund system by a cardholder’s credit card company. It is when a cardholder chooses to formally cancel a charge on his/her credit card bill due to fraudulent use of the card number.

18) What is 3Pay’s credit card chargeback policy?

In any case of chargeback policy 3Pay’s team will pay the authorized amount when the confirmation is received from the website about the purchase of the product. When the cardholder requests for a chargeback, the bank will not pay the amount but will direct the customer to the merchant for the claimed money.

19) What is the Withdrawal/Payout process?

You can request withdrawal/payout from your merchant panel if you have a minimum of 3000 taka. We process the withdraw within 1 business day.

20) What are 3Pay’s refund and end customer dispute policies?

3Pay provides a customer -friendly refund policy, which helps to regulate the administrative expenses. It cuts the amount of time spent researching customer inquires and the rate of chargeback disputes.

21) Does 3Pay need an SSL certificate (i.e. HTTPS) on its online store Does website end?

Yes, an SSL certificate is highly recommended on the merchant’s online store. SSL certificate will protect its customer’s data and also improve the trustworthiness of a website’s identity as a merchant.

22)My Transaction Declined, why?

There are several common reasons for which the credit card might be declined. Here are few Common Reasons -

You typed your credit card number incorrectly.
You chose an incorrect expiration date.
Your card is not ready for online (Internet) transaction.
There is a "hold" on the card. This happens automatically when the credit card company sees a transaction they don't believe fits your normal buying pattern and are worried that it might be fraud.
There is some other type of problem with the credit card account. You may need to try a different credit card, or call your credit card issuing bank and ask them why the charge was declined.

3Pay highly recommad customers to consult with their card issuing authority about their online purchase before trying to make any online transaction.

23) Is my transaction safe over online?

Yes ! 3Pay does not store your card information and transmit it securely so that your safety can be ensured with highest security and compliance.

24) Is Debit & Credit Card Allowed over 3pay?

Yes ! 3Pay ensures both Debit & Credit card with Visa & MasterCard logo. If you have a card, please make sure that it is usable over online through your bank. International cards can be transacted only if it is issued by any bank. No virtual card or prepaid card will be allowed to avoid fraudulent activities

25) Is there any monthly or hidden charges

No ! We do not charge monthly nor we have any hidden charges. But if any charge back happens through your merchant account, we will charge you back as per charge back policy ratio.

26) Do you provide Development Support

Yes ! We develop, customize and maintain websites and estores for merchants and any other business with domain, hosting and messaging support for a long with a reasonable price and packages.

27) How do you provide Technical support

We do provide support via Email & Phone for almost 16/7 hours at the moment. Our holidays are Friday & Saturday and other the government declared national holidays

28) I'm doing the first transaction over online! Could you please help

It’s easy, just go to your vendors website and follow the process mentioned below: Add to cart > checkout > select shipping method > select payment by 3Pay > select the option you prefer > input the required fields and You are DONE !

29) Who Can't Apply for 3pay Merchant Gateway

This service only offered to Bangladeshi and registered companies/Firms in Bangladesh. 3Pay will not accept any application from the party involves in one of the following products, services and activities: Pornography & Adult Content Firearms, Ammunition, High Capacity Magazines, Tasers, Air Guns Fireworks or Pyrotechnic Devices or Supplies Unapproved Drugs Gambling Transactions Theft Products Money Laundering Pyramid Scheme Program Terrorism And other activities that against Bangladesh government laws

30) What is a chargeback

A charge back is a refund that is requested by the customer through their credit card company or issuer i.e: Bank or NBFI. This occurs when a customer formally disputes a charge usually because their card was stolen or product or service received below their expectation or mistakenly charged

31) What are the refund and dispute policy of 3Pay

We receive the dispute and investigate, if it is found valid we refund the payment to customer directly.

32) What is your payment settlement process

We do disburse of payment weekly two time based on available working day. During bank holidays or weekly holiday or government declared holidays we do not disburse any payment. Based on qualifying volume three times settlement is being done too. We do have minimum and maximum withdrawal limit based on volume of transaction a merchant does. We do settlement direct to the bank account (mostly business account). No settlement is being done via bKash or any other method.
